How to Measure your Dog. A dogs coat size is measured from the base of the neck up to the base of the tail. Be sure that your dog is standing squarely on the ground with its head up to get an accurate measurement. Measure the dog from the base of the neck up to the end of the body while your dog is relaxed and looking ahead. It is better to order in even sizes that range from 8 inches to 28 inches. The size 13 inches is the only exception to this rule. If the tail of your dog goes up, round down. Also, if your dogs tail goes up, round up.
Choose Carefully - There are many of dog breeds to pick from so it is critical that you do your research to find one that compliments your lifestyle. Some dogs do not do as well in homes where they are left alone while other breeds manage just fine. Make sure you do your research before becoming a dog owner and you will be elated with the result.
Standard Poodle Clip Styles. A well-groomed Standard Poodle is pleasing to the eyes, right? Many dog lovers will definitely agree to that. Poodles have excessively dense coat that just keeps on growing and growing just like the human hair. In addition to their dignified gait, this coat, clipped in varying styles, is what makes Poodles beautiful and unique. But despite the effect on the appearance of a Poodle, the coat is not primarily clipped for the purpose of good looks alone. Clipping is originally done to improve the Poodles ability to swim through water, help it avoid snagging on undergrowth and keep the joints warm and protected from cold.
