Gear
Dogi: Two-piece training uniform consisting of matching jacket and pants. A Judo or Karate dogi may be used for Aikido. Sleeves are preferably short to practice wrist grabs.
Hakama: Wide pleated pants worn over the dogi by CAC members rokkyu or higher.
Bokken: Wooden practice sword.
Bokken with Tsuba: Practice sword with hand guard.
Jo: Wooden staff.
Shinai: Covered split bamboo sword. Used for full contact training.
